Feds dials up telehealth incentives in Australia

The federal government will pay specialists an extra 50 percent for each consultation, and give GPs an extra 35 percent for telehealth consultations.
The move comes as the government primes its $620 million telehealth initiative with a commitment to make telehealth consultations subject to Medicare rebates from 1 July.
